Using the service
- Whenever you need medical advice please phone your GP practice. If your practice is closed you will be automatically transferred to our on-call doctor service or given our direct dial telephone number (0845 121 0209). Please click here for details of your local GP practices.
- When calling the urgent on-call doctor service our team will ask for the following information:
Telephone Number; Name; Date of Birth; Address; Reason for your call; and GP Practice. - A nurse or doctor will call you back and agree one of the following:
- Details of your consultation will be sent to your registered GP and added to your patient record to assist continuity of care by your own Doctor
